Features:
The support unit for fixture pa rt is as sembled by angular ball bearing with high rigidity and low torque in face-toface duplex format that is appropriate to the dynamic property of rota tion shaft. In addition, it can achieve highly accurate rotation capability through precis e adjus tment on preload. The support unit for support part uses deep groove ball bearing. T here is oil seal framed in the unit, and it prevents the greas e from leaking. I t prevents the influx of fine dus ts or foreign subs tances and allows longtime use.

Shapes and classification:
There are two types of units that are available for different conditions of installation and use . One employsangle type (block type) s tructure where the unit is fixed on the bas e surface, and the other employs round type(flange type) s tructure where the unit is ins erted into a hole for fixation. The unit is also divided into two partsdepending on the position of power transmission shaft - the part for fixture (motor) on one s ide and the part forsupport on the other side.

Features:
Simplicity of Design and Assembly Standardization of product allows highly effective des ign. Additional as s embly proces s is not required, and the s tability of as sembly precis ion can be eas ily improved as bearing of the support unit is as sembled at optimal preload condition. Moreover, the s tandardized product ensures superior compatibility.
High Precision Angular contact ball bearing is precisely as sembled in face-to-face duplex format. The influence by as sembly error is minimized and the precis ion of rotation shaft is maintained as the product s tructure is des igned to absorb parallel error between rotational shaft and guide about the center of the shaft..
Dust-Proof Effect The support unit for fixture pa rt is as sembled by angular ball bearing with high rigidity and low torque in face-toface duplex format that is appropriate to the dynamic property of rota tion shaft.
Steps to install the support unit:
1. Assemble to Support Units
- Connect the Unit for Fixture to Ball Screw It is not allowed to dissemble the unit as its preload
has been already controlled The wing part of the Oil Seal should not be folded when you put the Ball Screw into the unit.
- After inserting the Ball Screw into the unit, put the collar, couple and adjust the locknut. Then place the set piece in the stop screw part of the locknut, and tighten the stop screw (see the page 60). Adhesive can be used to prevent the locknut from being loosened.
- Mount the nut bracket on the Ball Screw.
- After connecting the ball bearing of the unit for support to the Ball Screw, fix the snap ring and then incorporate them into the housing.

2. Assemble to Table and Base
- Connect the table to the nut bracket of the Ball Screw.
- Pre-assemble the Support Unit for fixture on the designed position of the base.
When based on the unit for fixture, adjust to have clearance in external diameter of the nut and internal diameter of the table or bracket. When based on the table, adjust the height of the angle typed unit. In the case of the flange type, adjust to have the clearance in external diameter and inside diameter of the coupling.
- Connect the housing of the unit for support to the Ball Screw, and then pre-assemble them on the
designed position of the base.

3. Precision of Rotation Shaft and Coupling
- Move the table connected to the Ball Screw toward the center of the shaft till it is leveled with the center. Then make reciprocating motions so that its linear movement can be smoothed.
- As measuring the tolerance about the direction of the shaft and the vibration at the end of the rotational shaft of the Ball Screw, couple in the order of the nut bracket and the table, the unit for fixture, the unit for support and the base.

4. Drive Motor and Assembly
- Precisely connect the bracket equipped in the motor to the base by leveling it with the shaft center of the Ball Screw.
- Connect the coupling to the motor and the fixture shaft. Careful attention should be paid when assembling, as the assembly condition of the motor bracket and the coupling affects the determination of the table position.
- Check the precision about the shaft center by doing enough trial operations, while driving the motor at a slow speed.
